Interactive released itemsPrint-ready
The Iowa End-of-Course assessments are designed to assess student knowledge and
skills in a variety of subject areas. The modules are designed to cover specific
subject areas and are intended to allow for a broader coverage of content than the
regular IEOC assessments. The modules consist of approximately 16 multiple-choice
items and are designed to be administered in less than a single class period. The
test items, which are aligned to the Common Core State Standards, reflect educator
input and a rigorous quality-control process to ensure appropriateness, content
accuracy, and clarity.
A summary of the content covered within the Matrix Algebra module is presented below.
Number and Quantity
Vector and Matrix Quantities
Topics may include representing and modeling with vector quantities, performing
operations on matrices, and using matrices in applications.
Reasoning with Equations and Inequalities
Topics may include representing systems of linear equations as single matrix equations
and using inverse matrices to solve systems of linear equations.
